Bethany, MO: Beverly Anne Kinnison, 86, Bethany, MO (formerly of Mt. Moriah, MO) passed away Saturday, April 7, 2018 at a Bethany, MO nursing home.
Beverly was born March 3, 1932 in Harrison County, MO, the daughter of John and Dorcas (Scott) Cyphers. She graduated in 1950 from Bethany High School.
On November 1, 1950, she married Vernal L. âSkeeterâ Kinnison. He preceded her in death on March 16, 1999.
Beverly and Skeeter had 4 children, Sue, Linda, Johnnie, and Timmie. Beverly was a homemaker, she worked on weekends as a cook at Fosterâs CafĂ© and ran the Farmerâs Exchange Store in Mt. Moriah, MO for many years. She was a member of the Mt. Moriah Baptist Church and the Kum-Jine-Us Club. She was an avid quilter and all the ladies of the club would come to her house and work on quilting quilts for other people.
Mom was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She loved having her grandkids come and visit her.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; brother, Maurice Cyphers and sister, Margaret Webb.
Survivors include sons, Timmie Kinnison, Princeton, MO and Johnnie (Debra) Kinnison, Ridgeway, MO; daughters, Sue (Dick) Crabtree and Linda (Charles) Casad both of Bethany, MO; 11 grandchildren, Tanya Crabtree, Erin (Ricky) Hillyard, Mallory (Daniel) Miles, Jeff Power (Tiffany), Latisha Power, Meghan (Aaron) Fair, Payton Kinnison, Kelli Pervis, Storm Kinnison and fiancé, Payton, Shadoe Kinnison, Kianna Kinnison; and 12 great-grandchildren, Landen, Benton, Nicholas, Chancel, Carter, Parker Anne, Greyson, Aniston, Harper, Elliet, Devan, Brooklyn, and one on the way in September.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 11 at Roberson Funeral Home, Bethany, MO. Burial will follow in Hamilton Cemetery, Modena, MO.
