Patrol car damaged: A tractor-trailer struck a Missouri State Highway Patrol car Wednesday, seven miles north of Bethany, while the trooper was helping a stranded motorist. The accident took place at about 11:23 p.m. near the 100-mile marker of I-35, near the Ridgeway exit. The incident occurred during a snowstorm. No injuries occurred in the accident, according to a spokesman for the Highway Patrol. The MSHP asked persons with information about the crash to contact Troop H headquarters at 816-387-2345.

Harrison County was hit with a combination of snow and sub-zero temperatures last week as winter continued to hang onto north Missouri.
