North Harrison put the finishing touches on a 3-1 victory over Northeast Nodaway in the sectional game Wednesday night at Eagleville and will advance to the state quarterfinals at LaPlata. The Shamrocks had a 3-1 lead going into the sixth inning on Monday night when the game was called because of a heavy rainstorm. The game was finished on Wednesday evening with the North Harrison lead intact. The Shamrocks, now 14-3, will play 16-1 LaPlata at 6 p.m. on Thursday, May 23, in the state quarterfinal game on LaPlata’s home field.
