U.S. Senator Roy Blunt stopped at the North Central Mental Health Center’s satellite office in Bethany Saturday to discuss efforts to expand rural broadband to offer more services to mental health treatment.
Senator Blunt told the staff of the local mental health office that his Excellence in Mental Health Action, which was signed into law in 2014, created an eight-state demonstration program to expand access to community mental health services and to strengthen the quality of care for those living with behavioral problems.
