Second Harvest meets area nutrition needs

Bethany, MO: Second Harvest Community Food Pantry expects to be busy this holiday season helping to provide for some of the nutritional meals of residents of 19 counties in Northwest Missouri and Northeast Kansas.
Michelle Fagerstone, chief development officer for the St. Joseph-based food pantry, said her organization sponsors several programs ranging from Backpack Buddies to a Senior Box program that provides meals to the elderly.
