Bethany’s third Safe Routes to School sidewalk project was blocked Tuesday night when two council members, Charlie Crabtree and Randy Brejnik, voted against an ordinance that would have accepted $250,000 from MoDOT to fund the extension of sidewalks on 39th Street to the South Harrison campus.
