The Ridgeway R-5 Board of Education approved the extension of the school’s virtual learning instruction during its Google online meeting last week. The school will return to in-person instruction on Dec. 1.
In other business, the board voted to appoint applicant Sidney Craig to a open position on the school board.
The board accepted the board filing dates of Dec. 15, 2020, to Jan. 19, 2021 for three open seats on the board.
The board approved a probationary contract for Julie Whitaker as a full-time janitor.
