Kenzie Reno, a senior at Northwest Missouri State University from Eagleville, has been spending the summer working as an intern in the Harrison County Water and Water Conservation office in Bethany. Kenzie has been busy this summer assisting the office in processing contracts through cost-share programs. She also has been learning from technicians how to design ponds, water crossings and grazing systems. “After the large amounts of rain that we had received through last fall into the spring, we had a lot of watershed structures in the county that needed some assistance.”
She will return to college in the fall to continue working on her degree in agricultural science. She will graduate in the spring of 2020.
