The Puppy Pound early childhood program will be expanded to a full day next year following action taken by the South Harrison school board at Monday night’s meeting.
High school students assist in the day care program that has been offered in recent years at the North Central Career Center. The program had been offered only for half a day but Puppy Pound will be expanded to both morning and afternoon sessions following a 6-0 vote by the school board.
