Building collapses: Several Cainsville residents were startled to hear the sound of one of the remaining downtown structures collapsing at about 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday morning. The building, located at the intersection of Routes N and V, had been vacant for many years and there were no injuries. Rebekah Deskins, city clerk, said most of the debris from the two-story, brick building was confined to the property away from the streets

Cainsville, MO: One of the last major buildings from a once thriving Cainsville downtown collapsed last Wednesday when the old Ford dealership fell to the ground after sitting vacant for years.
