Officers raid residence in New Hampton; three arrested

New Hampton, MO: Two men and a woman were taken into custody when officers executed a search warrant Wednesday at an address in the 100 Block of South Race Street in New Hampton.
The Harrison County Sheriff’s Department was assisting Bethany police in an investigation of thefts at businesses in Bethany.
Sheriff Trevor Place said the search warrant, which was executed in cooperation with Bethany police and the Highway Patrol, resulted in the arrest of three persons on charges ranging from possession of a controlled substance to unlawful possession of a firearm and receiving stolen property.
Those arrested included Francis M. Gray, 44, charged with possession of a controlled substance and receiving stolen property; Travis Taranto, 44, charged with possession of a controlled substance and receiving stolen property, and Matthew A. Bacon, 47, charged with unlawful possession of a firearm.
