Members of the South Harrison sophomore class pose outside the Liberty Memorial after touring the World War I Museum in Kansas City. The American History class received a guided tour of the exhibits on the 100th anniversary year of the armistice that ended World War I. Louis O’Brien, teacher of the American History class, said this is the third year that the class has toured the museum. The visit was sponsored in part by the Trio program at Graceland University, Lamoni, Iowa. Next year social studies teacher Chris Thomas will be holding a class based upon the history of Harrison County.
