The NTA ambulance district last week enacted a policy stating that it would no longer facilitate transfers from the Harrison County Community Hospital for outside emergency medical service agencies.
The protocol primarily impacts the North Harrison Ambulance District and the Mercer County Ambulance District which would no longer be able to transfer their patients from HCCH to other large city hospitals when NTA’s ambulances are available.
