Lisa Ann Legge, 55, of Des Moines who is charged with taking part in a home invasion near Ridgeway, faces a January trial date even though she recently lost her attorney.
Circuit Judge Jack Peace granted a motion by Public Defender Janet Troeger to withdraw as Legge’s attorney on Oct. 18. Prosecuting Attorney Johnathan Meyer said Legge was released on a $5,000 surety bond pending her trial on charges of aiding and abetting her companion, Elmer Martin Sorrell of High Ridge, Mo., in committing the robbery.
