The Harrison County Health Department reports that the number of positive virus cases increased by 5 in the last 24 hours. There now are 83 total confirmed cases, 60 individuals removed from isolation and 22 active cases.
The Harrison and Mercer County health departments sent out a joint notice of potential exposure for persons attending a church jubilee at the Zion Baptist Church near Cainsville from Aug. 22, 23 and 24. The agencies have been contacting individuals who may have been exposed.
