Hospital studies expansion: HCCH is conducting a financial feasibility study to evaluate facility expansion options that would include private inpatient rooms. Harrison County Community Hospital District officials will begin studying options this summer for either building an addition to HCCH or constructing an entirely new hospital, according to hospital Chief Executive Officer Tina Gillespie.
The hospital’s main goal will be to replace the patient rooms with 14 new private rooms built to modern hospital standards, including having private baths in all rooms.
