Harrison County celebrates heritage of University Extension in county

Harrison County residents gathered on the Square on Saturday to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the establishment of the Extension Center.
Among events during the celebration were a 5K run, the dedication of the new MU Extension sign at the west entrance to the courthouse and presentations from extension specialists and a luncheon. The program was also held to help raise funds for future extension programs.
