Skeleton crew: Fargo Assembly’s plant in the former Lambert building has shut down, leaving a large void in the building as the new owner, ECI, moves the production to Mexico. Assembly lines previously occupied two sides of the large plant building where 120 persons were employed.

Only a skeleton crew remained at the Fargo Assembly plant in Bethany when production came to a halt on Friday afternoon after the current owners, Electronic Components International of St. Louis, announced the closing of the plant after three years.
ECI said it plans to move production to an industrial complex in Ciudad Jaurez in northern Mexico.
