A detailed engineering proposal for replacing the closed West Bethany Bridge was presented to city and county officials last Wednesday at City Hall.
Frank “Blake” Blakemore of Garver engineering in Kansas City estimated that the bridge over the West Fork of Big Creek would cost about $825,000. MoDOT would pay for 80% of the costs of the bridge if the proposal is approved by the participating agencies.
