Dr. Scott Hall dies in UTV accident; services to be Tuesday, July 11, at South Harrison High School

Bethany, MO: Dr. Scott Hall, 38, a member of a prominent Bethany medical family, was killed on July 4 when his Polaris General overturned about three miles south of Bethany.

Dr. Hall was the medical director for the NTA ambulance service. He was also director of the Buchanan County EMS in St. Joseph.

According to the Highway Patrol, Dr. Hall was driving his Polaris on West 211 Lane at about 12:08 p.m. when his vehicle travelled off the east side of the road and began to skid. The vehicle struck a rock and returned to the roadway. The Polaris then travelled off the east side of the road before striking an embankment and overturning. Dr. Hall and a passenger, Maggie F. Hall, 31, were ejected from the vehicle. Dr. Hall was pronounced dead at the Harrison County Community Hospital. Mrs. Hall was treated for minor injuries at HCCH. A one-year-old child received moderate injuries and was also taken to HCCH.

Dr. Hall’s body was taken to the Roberson Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 11 at the South Harrison High School Gymnasium, Bethany, MO under the direction of Roberson Funeral Home, Bethany, MO. Burial will follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Bethany, MO. The family will receive friends from 5:00-8:00 p.m. Monday at the school.
