Harrison County officials approved a 2019 budget forecasting a nearly $300,000 deficit for the upcoming 12 months.
The budget, which was approved on Wednesday, estimates expenditures of $5,434,660 compared to $5,139,332 in revenue. The county had about $3.47 million in cash available at the start of the year, meaning there are adequate funds to cover the deficit.
