Bethany, MO: The Bethany City Council approved utility rates for 2022 during their meeting last week at City Hall.
Rates for natural gas increased by 10% and water increased by 5% while charges for electricity declined by 5%. Rates for curbside trash pickup declined from $12.12 to $10.60 per household and were reduced from $9.46 to $8.46 for senior citizens. Sewer rates will remain unchanged at 50% of the water bill for both residential and commercial properties.
