Blythedale, MO: Conrad Ury was just 10 years old when the Blythedale Free Fair held its first event at the site of the old Blythedale school. Now, approaching his 81st birthday in September, Ury has been present for nearly all of the free fairs, which will be celebrating the 70th anniversary next Friday and Saturday, Aug. 5-6.
