Bethany, MO: The Bethany Aquatic Center has been a busy place during the unusually hot weather this spring. Several kids were cooling off in the pool after school was dismissed for the summer last week. One youngster showed off his acrobatic skills off the diving board.
Wyatt Thomas, a student at Missouri University of Science and Technology at Rolla, is the pool manager this summer. A large crowd turned out at the pool on the opening day last Monday. “The first day was insane,” he said. It leveled off the next day but picked up all through the week.
