Quilts for the troops: Members of the Bethany Army Reserves unit display the quilts they received during a ceremony Sunday afternoon at the American Legion Post. Members of the Prairie Queen Quilt Guild of Harrison County, pictured on the back row, made the quilts for the soldiers who recently returned from a deployment to Kuwait, Iraq and Afghanistan. The guild made a total of 85 quilts for the reservists.

The Bethany American Legion Hall on Sunday afternoon was lined with scores of handmade quilts for the welcome home ceremony for members of the Jesse Funk Army Reserve Center who were returning from their deployment to the Persian Gulf.
