The opening of the Bethany Aquatic Center has been postponed until Monday, June 22, according to park officials.
Suzanne Wagner, president of the Parks and Recreation Board, said lifeguards will complete their training this week through the Ellis & Associates agency. Training began on Saturday at the pool and will be completed later in the week.
