Bethany, MO: Eden Elizabeth Waggoner-Brennan, 43, of Bethany, Missouri, passed away surrounded by her loved ones on Saturday, October 10, 2026 at North Kansas City Hospital after facing sudden and unexpected health complications.
We are at a loss for words. Though her time with us was cut short, the impact she had on her family and those closest to her was immeasurable. Her kindness, vibrant spirit, laughter, and profound love for others will continue to live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.
Eden was born on March 7, 1983, and grew up in Pattonsburg, Missouri. A proud graduate of Pattonsburg R-II High School, she excelled academically as a member of the National Honor Society and honored her class as the Salutatorian. Her accomplishments are too many to list. From an early age, Eden possessed a deep and beautiful connection to music. She shared her talents as the first-chair clarinetist in the school band and was a gifted pianist who achieved great success while studying classical music. While Eden loved spending time outdoors and enjoying the beauty of nature, her primary focus and greatest joy was always her family. She cherished every moment spent making memories with her beloved daughter Aubree and her devoted boyfriend James Griffin.
Eden is survived by her daughter, Aubree; her parents, Laura and Danny Noel, and James Waggoner, all of Pattonsburg, MO; her sister, Leah; and her dear grandmother, Judith Ann Fleming of Weatherby, MO. She also leaves behind her boyfriend, James Griffin; her uncle and aunt, Timothy and Mona Dike of Plattsburg, MO; her aunt, Maureen Daniel of Kansas City, MO; her uncle, Joseph Waggoner of Pattonsburg, MO; her cherished nieces, Ava, Scarlett, Violet, Lyric, and Lydia; as well as many dear cousins and extended family members. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Wanda and Art Waggoner of Pattonsburg, MO; her grandfather, Marvin S. Dike of Idaho; her grandfather, Billy Fleming of Pattonsburg; and her uncles, Daniel L. Dike and Charles M. Dike, both of Pattonsburg, MO.
Eden was cremated under the direction of Roberson Funeral Home in Pattonsburg, MO. The family will have a service to celebrate Eden’s life at 11:00 AM on Saturday, October 24, 2026, at the Pattonsburg Multi-Purpose Center, 401 Chestnut St., Pattonsburg, MO 64670, with a reception immediately following.
