Sheriff Place injured during high speed pursuit that sparked manhunt

Harrison County, MO: Harrison County Sheriff Trevor Place was seriously injured last Monday, Feb. 9, when he lost control of his sheriff’s department pickup while chasing a suspected burglar on rural roads in Harrison and Mercer counties. Place was taken to HCCH for treatment of his injuries and was released to his home.
