Bethany, MO: The South Harrison Boys basketball team traveled to Lawson early in the week to play the Cardinals. The Bulldogs pulled out the win, beating Lawson 48-38, and moved their season record to 11-10. Early in the first quarter, Brody Templeton stretched out and caught a high pass from a Bulldog but found himself in trouble as Cardinals surrounded him and swiped at the ball. Templeton scanned the court for an open Bulldog, spying Jett Cornett above the arch. Templeton passes to Cornett, who drains the ball and adds three points to the board. Later, Cornett, with the ball, sets up for a drive through the center lane only to fake out a Cardinal passing to Khale Taggart, who waited deep in the corner.
