Promoted to fire captain

Bethany, MO: Chad Fordyce, son of Michele and Patrick Sharp of Gladstone and Harold and Candi Fordyce of Bethany, was promoted to captain of the Station 6 fire station on Parvin Road in Kansas City. There to pin him was his daughter Charly and his mother Michele Sharp. Chad started his career as a Kansas City firefighter in July of 2004. He was assigned to Pumper 45 and then moved to Station 37 where he has spent most of his career.--Submitted photo
