
Bethany, MO: Kenneth Hall, 92, Bethany, MO passed away Monday, July 14, 2025, at a North Kansas City Hospice House.
Kenneth Eugene Hall was born on July 2, 1933, to Alma and Gertie Hall in Bethany, Missouri. He attended Bethany High School, graduating in 1951. He served in the U.S. Army from 1953 – 1955, in the 10th Mountain Division at Camp Hale in the mountains of Colorado serving the unit as a cook. He married Patsy Ann Provin of Ridgeway, MO on March 4, 1956, a marriage that spanned 65 years until her death in 2021. They had three children, Terry, Debbie, and Gary, who were raised on their farm south of Bethany including a dairy operation, hay production, and row crop. He worked as a rural mail carrier for many years and had several other odd jobs as well.
He has been a member of the Mitchelville Church for over 70 years, being active in the maintenance of the church, serving on the church board and participating in events at the church.
He loved old cars and had the pleasure of taking restored cars to car shows and was passionate about spending time with other car enthusiasts at these events. He enjoyed spending time with his family including the extended family of Bill and Wilma Hall, with whom many vacations and activities were shared and enjoyed. Kenneth and Pat traveled to Texas for many years in the winter where they developed many close friendships that persist to this day.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents Alma and Gertie Hall, his wife Patsy, his brother Bill and sister-in-law Wilma Hall, his brother-in-law Gene Provin and sister-in-law Ellen Provin, his grandson Scott Hall and his great-grandson Eli Hall.
He is survived by his children: Terry (Chris) of Bethany, MO, Debbie (Charles) Vandivert of Springfield, MO, and Gary (Kathy) of Bethany. Additional survivors include his grandchildren: Sarah Simmerman, Kimberly Baker, David Hall, Beth Taylor, Amy Matz, Craig Vandivert, Garrett Hall, Delissa Hall and 16 great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, July 19, at Roberson Funeral Home, Bethany, MO. Burial with Military Rites will follow in Antioch Cemetery, Bethany, MO. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Mitchelville Community Church and/or Antioch Cemetery in care of Roberson Funeral Home, P.O.
