



Eagleville, MO: (photo 1) Jeffery Peoples, from TOPS BBQ in Hamilton Missouri, served up his version of pulled pork to the crowd. Jeffrey was just one of the eleven teams that turned out for the smokers competition. (photo 2) Quinton Cox and Company entertained the guests during the event with their bands music styling. (photo 3) The crowds gather under the pavilion to sample the smoked meats, the admission of $10 to enter the event bought all the samples you could want. Eight judges sampled the smoked meats throughout the competition, Mark Hillyard, Trey Bradley, Josh Glenn, and Tad Whittom (photo 4) had the best job of the night. They scored the eats on flavor, sauce, and type of meat. Stott’s Pitt Crew BBQ came out on top winning Grand Champion while picking up other adwards during the event.–Republican-Clipper photo
