Ridgeway Easter Egg Hunt was held Saturday, April 19, in the Ridgeway City Park. Sponsored by the Ridgeway Community Betterment Association, nearly 100 children and their families turned out for the fun and cleared the park of filled eggs, treats and toys in about 15 minutes. The hunt was made possible by generous donors and volunteers who stuffed eggs and set them out in the park for the children to enjoy.
Harrison County, MO: Easter weekend was accompanied by cold and rainy weather. Still, the show must go on, and the cooler temperatures did little to dampen the festivities or the spirits of the annual egg hunters. For most children, the main event is the Easter egg hunt held at Bethany Memorial Park. And for the fourth year in a row, the kids get a chance to practice before the big event. After all, practice makes perfect—and with something as important as free candy on the line, this has to be done right.–By Caleb Osmon
