
Bethany, MO: Bethany police officers arrested a Minnesota man on Tuesday afternoon, March 4, after Minnesota authorities said he had allegedly been involved in a stabbing attack in Faribault, located north of the Iowa border.
Bethany police were notified by Faribault officers that they were actively searching for a man by the name of Ricardo Ortiz in connection with multiple felony charges. Faribault police said the suspect’s cell phone had pinged on a tower 300 miles away in the Bethany area, prompting a coordinated multi-agency effort to locate the individual, according to a news release from the Bethany Police Department. The sheriff’s department provided a photo of the suspect and the vehicle.
