Bethany, MO: Joe A. Holderness, 75, of Bethany, Mo., passed away peacefully in his home on Wednesday, October 28, 2026 with his family by his side.
Joe was born on June 2, 1951 in Deep River, Iowa and graduated from Gilman City High School in 1969. Joe was a veteran of the United States Army and served in Vietnam. He worked for the Union Pacific Railroad for over 30 years and in his free time enjoyed hunting, fishing and working in his garage. In 1975, he married the love of his life, Terri.
Joe is survived by his wife Terri of the home; daughters, Gina Holderness (Jeremiah Seipel) and Lisa Holderness; granddaughter, Audrey; brother, Bill Holderness; sister, Nancy Armstrong; brother in law, Greg Sternquist; and nieces and nephews.
