Mayor Lance Johns holds two of the lanterns Mike Bartlett donated to the relocated railway depot in Bethany. Johns said one lantern had a date of 1930 written on the bottom. He called them “absolutely cool pieces”. Johns said he was informed thirty years ago one lantern was purchased for $300, saying he couldn’t spectate its current value.
