The concerned citizen who wished to remain nameless provided a photo of one of the dead animals. He believes this was a random killing since another dead doe was found near by. Other people in the area reported hearing gunshots, early in the morning and at night.
Bethany, MO: A concerned Harrison County resident, who asked to remain nameless, reported the bodies of two dead deer found in a field near the New City Lake outside of Bethany. The man said he felt the deer were victims of poaching since the animals were female deer and found dead in close proximity together, the carcasses were not harvested and it’s not deer season in Missouri.
