Harrison County, MO: A recent decision made by the board members of the Big Creek Ambulance District to end most rescue services sent the Bethany City Council into a special session. The councilmen met to talk about safety in Harrison Country and what role the city will play in the future. A post on Facebook alerted the county that the local ambulance district had chosen to remove rescue operations from the services they will provide, an idea that has been repeatedly discussed in many of the past ambulance meetings. However, the ambulance will still respond and perform vehicle extrication.
