Eagleville, MO: Wanda June (Bell) Ruff, 93 years old, passed away on May 13, 2026 at Sunset Nursing Home in Maysville, Missouri.
June (as she liked to be called), was born in Daviess County, Missouri to Claude Henderson and Esther Ellen (Powell) Bell.
On October 1, 1949, she was married to Lester Ray Ruff, Jr. in Pattonsburg, Missouri. They had three children: Terry, Lois Anne, and Bettie.
June was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Junior; son, Terry Ruff; daughter, Bettie Valenti; sisters in law, Lila Hutton, Twila Kinnison, and Carroll Barker; brothers, John Bell, Jim Bell, and Leslie Bell; sisters, Nettie Williams, Gertrude Tague, Marilyn Utz, Rose Smith, Juanita Hancock, Mary Catherine Bell, and Margaret Merrigan.
She is survived by her daughter, Lois Anne Ruff of Bethany, MO; sister, Shirley Knott of Cameron, MO; brother, Robert Bell (Luella) of Belen, NM; grandchildren, Cory Valenti, Darbie Valenti Huff (Mark), and Steven Valenti (Dani); and great grandchildren, Ethan, Rylee, Brennan, Ilythia, Daven, and Leia.
Memorial services are scheduled for 2:00 PM on Saturday, July 25, 2026 at Eagleville Christian Church in Eagleville, MO. Visitation will be from 1:00 – 2:00 PM prior to the service at the church. Inurnment will follow in the Hobbs Cemetery in Eagleville. In lieu of flowers, memorial and contributions are suggested to the American Heart Association.
