Summer ball program gets big boost

Harrison County, Mo: Brandy Ferguson, president of the Rotary Club, presents a $3,000 check to Billy Wendt of the Bethany Baseball Association. The check represents proceeds raised during Rotary’s biscuits and gravy breakfast held on May 2 at the South Harrison Elementary School. Some 375 area residents attended the breakfast which raised funds for the summer baseball and softball program. This was the largest amount ever raised during the annual breakfast.
