Harrison County, MO: South Harrison, Gilman City and Pattonsburg teams will be playing for district basketball championships this weekend.
The South Harrison boys defeated Lawson 64-39 Thursday night to advance to the Class 3, District 16 championship game to play Carrollton at 1 p.m. Saturday at Bethany. Meanwhile, the South Harrison Lady Bulldogs will play Lawson at 6 p.m. Friday night at Lathrop after beating Lathrop 58-32 on Wednesday night.
In the Class 1, District 14 tournament, the Gilman City girls will play host Princeton at 6 p.m. on Friday night. The Lady Hawks beat North Harrison Wednesday night 42-37 to advance to the district title game. On Thursday night, Pattonsburg defeated North Harrison 83-57 to advance to the boys’ championship game to play Princeton. The game will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Pattonsburg school.
