Earlier in the year the council started to make plans to build a police station somewhere in Bethany, allowing the policemen more space to operate in.

Bethany, MO: In a past Bethany Council meeting the proposed police station once again came up for discussion. The first problem to solve was where to place the station, with the empty lot across the street from City Hall being the favored site. But several council meetings later, the idea of where to place the station has shifted. Now the aldermen have seemed to come into agreement with the mayor, who proposed to combine the new police station with the current fire station.
