Bethany, MO: A fire destroyed a home late Friday night on West 210th Street, near Highway 13, according to the Fire Department. The fire originated in the attic and was attributed to an electrical problem, according to Fire Chief Jacob Denum. The fire was reported to authorities at about 10 p.m. Friday night. Firefighters from Bethany, Gilman City and North Harrison battled the fire until about 2 a.m. They had trouble getting access to the fire through the home’s metal roof and also were hampered by water supply problems.–Submitted photo
