Memorial service to be held atMiriam Cemetery

Harrison County, MO: Bruce Williams will be the main speaker at the Memorial Service to be at 2 p.m. on Sunday, May 28, at Miriam Cemetery.
Boy Scout Troop 100 will be setting out the flags symbolizing the veterans who are buried at the cemetery. Tom McFall, commander of the American Legion Post 216, and Mike O’Neal, commander of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2176, will be leading the ceremony. The Color Commander will be Larry Simpson. Richard Graner will be singing the National Anthem and Brad Clark will be leading the attendees in prayer. A special reading by Brenda Clark will be taking place to start things off.
Following the speaker, Tom McFall will lead the weapons salute before the American Legion and VFW perform Taps. Linda McFall will be doing the laying on of memorial wreaths, and Brenda Clark will be doing a special reading before McFall dismisses those attending and the event comes to a close.
