Bethany, MO: Mary Irene Haehl (née Seymour), 77, of Bethany, Missouri, and most recently of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on December 20, 2024, at Norton Clark Hospital. She was born on May 21, 1947, in Bethany to Gerry and Deane Seymour.
Mary spent her career in banking in southern Indiana and was an early member of Leadership Southern Indiana. She is remembered for her dedication, faith, and warm spirit.
She is survived by her son, Brian (Laura) Haehl; grandchildren Patia (Matt) Young, Emory (Andrew) Day, and Benjamin (Aniya) Lewis; great-grandson Roland Young; and brother Dan (Tyra) Seymour. She was preceded in death by her brother Tom (Sherry) Seymour.
A graveside service will be held on April 18, 2025, at Foster Cemetery (old section) in New Hampton, Missouri. 11am.
