Patterson, IA: Caryl Ann Harper, 74, Patterson, IA passed away Saturday, June 19, 2021 at her home.
She was born on December 12, 1946 in Tulsa, Oklahoma the daughter of Daryl Lee, Sr. “Tuffy” and Anna Elizabeth (Zimmerman) Vandiver. They preceded her in death.
On December 19, 1964, she married Charles “Charlie” Harper in Bethany, MO.
Caryl worked for many years as a dietician and then as a homemaker, caring for her family.
She is survived by her husband, Charlie, of the home; children, Kurt Harper (Kim Brown), Des Moines, IA and Kathy Dingman (Doug Jurgens), Winterset, IA; step-son, Charles Clyde (Helen) Harper; grandchildren, Brian (Alisa) Drake and Lonnie Drake; great grandchildren, Isaac Harper and Wyatt Drake; brothers, Ronnie (Alice Faye) Vandiver, Maryville, MO and Daryl Lee Vandiver, Bethany, MO and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside Services and Burial will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, June 24 in Miriam Cemetery, Bethany, MO under the direction of Roberson Funeral Home, Bethany, MO. The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. Noon to 1:00 p.m. Thursday at Roberson Funeral Home, Bethany, MO.
