Brett Hawkins, 34, of Bethany, MO passed away Sunday, September 13, 2015 at Harrison County Community Hospital.
He was born June 8, 1981 in Chillicothe, MO the son of Jerry and Betty (Gadberry) Jones.
He was a Deputy Sheriff for Harrison County Sheriff’s Department and the D.A.R.E. Officer for Harrison County.
Brett is preceded in death by his father, Jerry Jones.
He is survived by his wife, Brooklyn Hawkins; daughter, Arlie Hawkins; sons, Keegan Goble Hawkins, Karsen Allen Hawkins and Kenten Allen Hawkins, all of the home; mother, Betty Jones, Bethany, MO; sister, Brandi Willis, New Hampton, MO; brother, H.B. Gebhards, Mt. Ayr, IA; aunt, Susan Howard, Bethany, MO; grandmother-in-law, Margaret Shipers, Pattonsburg, MO; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, September 18 at Immanuel Baptist Church, Bethany, MO. Burial will follow in Miriam Cemetery, Bethany, MO. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at Roberson Funeral Home, Bethany, MO where friends may call after 12:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Harrison County D.A.R.E.
