Descendants of George Westlake receive a Missouri Century Farm award during the Harrison County Extension Council’s annual meeting last Thursday night at Eckard’s Community Hall. George Westlake acquired the farm near the present community of Washington Center in 1864. Gwendolyn Schildknecht, second from left, accepted the award on behalf of the family.
