

Holmes for the Holidays: The South Harrison Theatre Department’s production of The Game’s Afoot was a delightfully funny show wrapped around a series of mysterious circumstances. The cast portrayed a variety of fun and colorful characters that were a riot to watch on stage. To the left, Conner Marsh’s William Gillette produces an important piece of evidence to his co-stars regarding the recent attempt on his life, and below, things take a dire turn when a sharp-tongued Daria Chase drops dead, leading to an eventful evening of trying to solve the mystery, catch the murderer, or at the very least, evade the police.
Bethany, MO: The South Harrison High School Theatre Department recently held their performance of Ken Ludwig’s “The Game’s Afoot”. Performances of the play were held from Nov. 17-19. “The Game’s Afoot” is a comedic whodunnit mystery thriller following the story of Broadway star William Gillette, portrayed by Conner Marsh, who has invited his fellow cast members to his luxurious home for Christmas, but the evening quickly devolves into chaos as one of the guests turns up dead.–By Brady Sunderland
