Bethany, MO: Howard Gamber holds a certificate proclaiming that his team, Courage, had set a Guinness record for playing the longest baseball game non-stop over the weekend of August 31 at Macken Park in North Kansas City. Gamber’s 30-member team played continuously for 100 hours, one minute beating the world record set in Manitoba, Canada. The game raised money for several charities in the Kansas City area, said Gamber, a resident of Bethany.–Submitted photo
